What to Do with the Bible

I. Stow it -- hide it in your heart.

A. Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against Thee said David of Old.

B. The Word is used by the Holy Spirit to bring things to remembrance when we need guidance.

II. Show it -- share it with others

A. To win them to Christ.

B. To mature them in Christ.

III. Study it -- learn it for wisdom

A. Study it eagerly -- Acts 17: 10-11

B. Study it reverently -- 1 Tim. 4: 13-16

C. Study it diligently -- 2 Tim. 2: 15

D. Study it continually -- 2 Tim. 3: 14-17

E. Study it discerningly -- Heb. 4: 12
