"Are you alright"?
"What"? A question directed at me
"Fine", I replied, somewhat uncertainly
"Are you sure you're alright?"
The voice boomed again
"Of course I'm fine", the reply was the same
"But are you really alright"
A tiny voice enquired from within
"Of course I'm fine","I've a home, family, job, in fact everything"
The voice responded, "is this really all your life's about"
"For I see void, unfulfillment, guilt and self doubt"
"What do you see", I retorted, "you don't even know me"
The voice sighed," the truth is I died to set you free"
"And to say I don't know you,
"Sadly that's the one thing you've said that's true"
