Cast All Your Care On Him, For He Cares For You
I wandered one day down the path of regret
Slowly I walked passing those that I've met
Is this really true or just another bad dream
Did it really happen as a part of evils scheme
Or maybe just a caution from the Lord above
Warning me to always care for those that I love
It was the good ones the bad ones I met today
The good passing quickly the bad here to stay
As I speak to those memories that pass me by
To some I happily smile to others I regret to cry
For sometimes we all have the moments of glee
While other times from the evil ones we all flee
How many times I failed to hear His Spirit's voice
Time after time turning from Him was my choice
Now pinch me Lord let me wake from my dream
Shake me Lord so to others I may clearly redeem
That now I may wander down the pathway of life
Leaving my ego of envy, jealously and my strife
Do you have any regrets about your past, your present or your future? You see, whether you live the three score and ten, or are fortunate to live beyond the 70 years, your life is still just a vapor compared to God's eternity (James 4:14).
It’s hard to move forward when you don’t know where you’re headed or why. However, God’s Holy Word gives us the answers to life’s most basic questions like, "Where did I come from?" "What’s my purpose here?" And, "What happens when I die" (1 Cor 15:22)? Knowing the answers gives us hope and helps us find peace and joy.
For mankind, burdens or sins come in many shapes, forms and fashions (Isaiah 53:6). And these burdens can all be traced back to man's sinful fall in the garden of Eden (Genesis 3:6). Since then, all people born have been born in a sinful state. Sin and God's holiness cannot mix. However, since the fall of man, God promised a way of escape. (Genesis 3:15)
You see, aside from God's free grace through our faith (Ephesians 2:8-9), none of us are able to have fellowship or worship the Father God (1 John 1:3). But the creator of life, God Himself, made a way for us to escape evils results. That being through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 15:1-4) Yes, on the cross of Calvary, our sin dept was paid. (1 Peter 10:24)(Colossians 1:20) (1 Cor 15:3) (Romans 5:10) (1 Peter 1:18-19)
So, even though our life's pathway may deal us regrets, by way of God's love, we will overcome.
