THE MARK OF THE BEAST-ANOTHER THEORY

Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666." (Revelation 13:16-18)

Down through the ages of Christianity, mankind has attempted to solve the Biblical puzzle of the "Mark of the Beast." The Scripture gives a definite but vague account of this mark, causing it to be one of the major mysteries of Scripture. It is a symbol associated with evil mandated to the populace during the dreaded tribulation period in history. Without having this mark, no one would survive, as no one would be able to buy or sell during this period. Participation in this mark, however, would seal one's eternal damnation.

The mark is equivalent to the beast's name or number (Revelation13:17) and (Revelation 14:11). And this enigmatic number is announced in (Revelation13:18) as being 666. All will be marked in the right hand or the forehead.

Also, no one will be exempted. All left behind from the Rapture, including both rich and poor, both free and slave, will need this mark to survive.

Many logical theories are now being publically advertised, as to this mark; theories such as engraving tattoos on the hand and forehead, or placing surgically inserted microchip implants in the right hand or forehead. So please allow me to add my theory to this mix.

On the other hand, no pun intended, what if this mark had nothing to do with the defacing of the body or skin? What if it was strictly a principle of technology, or a barcode of our digital age?

With the inception of our digital age, this vague explanation of the "Mark of the Beast" would be a very easy exchange of information, without the defacing of the skin.

After all, consider one's everyday physical process. Everything we humans do either involves our hands or our head. We do the many physical tasks with our hands, and most individuals are right handed. And the many thought processes involve our minds.

So the governmental powers would need to only pass legislation mandating a bar code, or microchip be placed on all manufactured goods, on all items for consumption, on every product, on all merchandise, and on all monetary currency. And most importantly, this same identification method would also be a part of the voting process, which touches the very heart of our country's freedom.

In connection or correlation with this federal mandate, all of America's populace would be required to possess and/or wear a corresponding decoder device. Without this device, no one would be able to buy or sell.

Built into this device would be a secret code, identifying this device only to the individual holder. In other words, this device could not be exchanged among the populace.

I recently received a revised Medicare Identification Card. My new card has a long series of numbers instead of displaying my Social Security number. I now also have a bank credit card with a chip implant. And my iPhone also has the capability of displaying a barcode reader app.

What if all citizens were given a secret coded digital chip or bar code? These digital type icons could very easily be used as identification for all our buying and selling activity, without any type of surgery, without a bump under the skin of the head or hand.

Just maybe, it would be much easier to convince the populace to carry some variation of a secret digital coded number, rather than receiving a surgical implant. After all tattoos do hurt, and some people are finicky when it comes to getting shots.

In the span of my generation, what sounded like an impossibility in The Book of the Revelation written in approximately 90 A.D., today’s technology has made a reality. (John 13:19)

One would need only to be able to interact with any digital capable device, such as an identification card, an iPhone, an iPod, iPad or a PC, for buying and selling.

I realize, however, as we get closer to the end times environment, this current world atmosphere may just be beyond our finite control. The enemy will be of a supernatural nature, always ready for mortal combat. (Ephesians 6:12). You see, I feel that Satan may be in high gear, as he is aware that his time here on Earth is short.

The Bible does give us certain prophetic signs or warnings that will occur in the last days, and we should be aware of such events happening around us. Some of these are as follows: The Peril of Apostasy (II Timothy 3:1-9, 13) (II Timothy 4:3-4), and false Teachers (II Peter 2:1-3) (I John 4:1-6) (II John 1:7-11) (Jude 1:5-7)

And it is my spiritual belief, that true Christians will not be faced with the Antichrist and all his evil deceptions, as the Rapture will take us Christians away from it all. (Revelation 3:10) (I Cor. 15:51-53) (I Thess. 4:16-18)

However, these types of Biblical prophecies, such as the Mark of the Beast, still foster certain interest. I also realize this theory on the Mark of the Beast is probably one of those leading mysteries. One need only surf the Internet, to prove this supposition.

My advice, don't rack your brain, or place it in over-drive, worrying about this unusual prediction, just make sure you will skip this terrifying event. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

No one actually knows what this Mark of the Beast is, or will be. One thing we do know, taken from Scripture, is that this mark will be an outward sign of disobedience to God (Lev. 19:28)

And it is certainly clear that taking part in this Satanic evil scheme will involved compromise and contradicting of God's commands. It will seal the eternal punishment of those who partake forever. (Revelation 14:9-11)

"It is possible that John merely intended the number to be symbolic of what the beast and his followers represent: humankind in their ultimate rebellion against God, his Lamb, and the followers of the Lamb. John explains in (Revelation13:18) that the number 666 is the number of man. The number 7 is well established as a number of completeness or perfection. The number 6, being one less than 7, may symbolize humankind, which falls short of perfection." (Biblestudytools.com)

Now I know, mine is just another theory of this infamous Mark of the Beast, among the many published on the Internet. I trust you will find my theory interesting.
