I dare not dream a sweeter day,
When all hearts open and obey.
I pray that no one be left,
But all of man repent and rest.
For only God's abiding love can save
Such a sinner who's damned to the grave.
I dare not dream a sweeter day,
When we truly comprehend His grace,
Since all have fallen short of Him,
We do not deserve to be His kin.
Yet God alone makes us redeemed,
Through Jesus' blood we've been made clean.
I dare not dream a sweeter day,
When all who believe will share the Way.
When all the lost and hopeless masses
Praise the Lord with a fiery passion.
For then alone we shall not fear,
When trumpets sound, the day is here!
