The sky it shone with heavenly light
As love was born one starry night
No rich beginnings for this little one
So meek a start God’s only son
Humbly they bowed the knee in awe
A saviour babe is what they saw
Lying in a manger still
Set to give man back free will
Imagine the beauty of that night
For the whole of mankind fresh hope and light
Memories perhaps for us to reflect
The impact, that life, to change and effect
Humanly so, we’re full of wealth
Spiritually perhaps, not good health
So maybe a time, for us to ponder
The beauty, the light, the life, the wonder
