Daniel 6:10

INTRODUCTION: We have all been there one time or another. When we tell someone what we believe to be true and they attack us. Lets say we told someone that we believed is U.F.O.’s or aliens and they told us that we were stupid or retarded, made fun of us or beat us up because of it. This would be an attack on what we believe. It happens everywhere all the time.

In Daniel 6:10 the Bible talks about Daniel being attacked for his faith in God. This is where Daniel is thrown into a pit of lions for praying to God instead of obeying a law to pray only to the king for 30 days. Daniel is our model in this passage for us on how to act when others attack our beliefs in God. Daniel did what was right by praying for strength and answers and praising God.

CONCLUSION: What should we do when others attack our belief in God? When others attack our belief in God we should continue to do what is right. When others attack our belief in God we should continue to look to God for strength and answers. When others attack our belief in God we should praise God for what he has done for us.

When others attack our belief in God we should continue to do what is right. Do you compromise your beliefs when someone has a different opinion or attacks you? Will you come and ask God for help today?

When others attack our belief in God we should continue to look to God for strength and answers. Do you retaliate when others attack you or do you ask God for strength and the answers for each situation?

When others attack our belief in God we should praise God for what he has done for us. Do you get upset when you are attacked or do you praise God for helping you through trials and tribulations? Will you ask God to help you praise Him during the hard times and see the good in any situation?
