Being " Promoted To Glory" is the ultimate distinction given to a Salvation Army comrade, upon being called home by their Heavenly Father to receive God's final promotion.
Our Mom and Dad and Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law received this final Promotion, after many faithful years of Salvation Army full time service. Together, and collectively, their service reached into the 2nd century of faithful loving service for their Lord and Savior.
However, their first day of Heavenly service is not yet completed, as a day with the Lord is as a 1000 years. ( 2 Peter 3:8 ) And no watches nor calendars can be found in Glory Land.
Dad was very fortunate to have penned so many great gospel songs, addressing "Glory Land". Here's one such chorus example:
•I am traveling to glory, To a better home on high,
•I am traveling to glory, To a mansion in the sky,
•I will see my blessed Savior, When my life crown has been won,
•I'll dwell with Him forever, When my traveling days are done.
