Me, me, what's so special about me
I let you down
I make you frown
But you still love me
Me, me, what talents have I
I'm nondescript
Don't seem to fit
Am I living a lie?
Me, me, I've few virtues to give
For I curse and swear
Do I really care
About the life I live
Me, me, have I love in my heart
For I gossip and fight
Do more wrong than right
And surely in you can play no part
Me, me, why do you persist in me
My debt is high
But you've passed it by
I owe nothing, you've set me free
