I can do all things through Christ
Let me burn out for you Lord
Let me burn out for you
From sin and dross
Show me your cross
Let me burn out for you
Let me burn out for you Lord
Let me burn out for you
Thy Spirit Lead
Show me my need
Let me burn out for you
Let me burn out for you Lord
Let me burn out for you
Show me your Son
Let the victory be won
Let me burn out for You
Let me burn out for you Lord
Let me burn out for you
By faith show your grace
Just too feel your embrace
Let me burn out for you
Let me burn out for you Lord
Let me burn out for you
From sins evil way
To love may all sway
Let me burn out for you
Let me burn out for you Lord
Let me burn out for you
In a wink of a eye
May we all split the sky
Let me burn out for you
Burnout can be simply defined as a state of mental exhaustion from long term stress.
Are you burning out or burning up, for Christ? Christian burnout seems to be widespread, in this political charged world, in which we are living. And, I suspect that often times we Christians try to go it on our own, rather than seek our Lord's help.
Remember the Apostle Paul's statement," I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". ( Philippians 4:13
So, why not stop, take a deep breath, and let God your Heavenly Father, Christ Jesus your Savior, and the Holy Spirit your comforter, help, " My presence will go with you and I will give you rest.” ( Ex 33:4)
The scripture does not promise we will see results, from our labor. Only that we should go, in faith for our Lord.
“All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth. Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Mt. 28:18-20 ASV).
Remember, it's better to burn out for our Lord, than to burn out for man.
