Is it me, do I care only for what pleases me?
The thing my eye does see, the God of my belly.
Am I lost in the sea, do I swim so uselessly?
Like the fish, the big fat fish who lives in the abyss.
Am I so hungry, for what I can see -
are my eyes so tiny, how big is my belly?
Is food so scarcely that I see, only the God of my belly?
Like the fish, the big fat fish who lives in the abyss.
Is it me, if so then help me, help me to see,
with eyes upon thee, to be more sprightly,
to swim more lightly, to go where food is plenty.
To be the fish, the little little fish, Peter caught in his net.
