Life changes for the GOOD or BAD.
Tho I am older now, I can still run a race,
Of course, I'll do it at my own pace.
It would be for the broken-down America,
Going through it's growing pains, and it's OK.
I remember the days going to school,
Pledging our flag, I thought, was cool.
The public school gave us a prayer to do,
Give us our daily bread, and so on, we'd pursue.
I never was interested in politics until I married one.
Today, WOW, "Republicans" and Democrats are so divided.
The Spirit of Truth and Lies, the winner, will soon come.
May the light of Truth by God be guided.
