I can't see You Lord, but I Can feel You
I can feel You in the new morning Sun
I can feel You as the day light has begun
I can feel You Lord, Yes I can feel You
I can't see You Lord, but I can feel You
I can feel You as I move along my way
I can feel You as I move from day to day
I can feel You Lord, Yes I can feel You
I can't see You Lord, but I can feel You
I can feel You in the morning dew
I can feel You in a life that's new
I can feel You, Lord, Yes I can feel You
I can't see you Lord, but I can feel You
I can feel You in the evening stars at night
I can feel You in the moon light so bright
I can feel You Lord, Yes I can feel You
I can't see You Lord, but I can feel You
I can feel You in the smell of the sea
I can feel You in the waves so restlessly
I can feel You Lord, Yes I can feel You
I can't see You Lord, but I can feel You
I can feel You in the mountains of snow
I can feel You in the valleys down below
I can feel You Lord, Yes I can feel You
I can't see You Lord, but I can feel You
I can feel You in a child's first breath
I can feel You in life's cry of death
I can feel You, Lord, Yes I can feel You
I can't see You Lord, but I can feel You
I can feel You when I look to the sky
I can feel You in that sweet by and by
I can feel You Lord, Yes I can feel You
REFRAIN
I can feel You Lord, Yes I can feel You
When I come on bended knee
I can feel You Lord, Yes I can feel You
When to Your alter I make my plea
ENDING
O Jesus, Lord and Savior, I give myself to Thee,
For Thou, in Thy atonement, didst give Thyself for me.
I own no other master, my heart shall be Thy throne.
My life I give, henceforth to live, O Christ, for Thee alone.
Even though we cannot see God, we can certainly feel His awesome power (John 20:29). We see it in all aspects of life, from His miraculous creation, down through the ages until now. Just touch a flower, see a changing butterfly emerge, see the miracle of new born birth, and see the assurances of a saintly death.
In Psalm 19, we see a hymn of praise, David reflects on the glory of God in natural revelation and the glory of the law as God's special revelation, which alone meets man's spiritual needs (Psalm 19:10-14)
In (Psalm 19:1-2) we see that day and night the created universe broadcasts its silent but eloquent symphony to the glory of God.
In (Psalm 19:3), we see that communication is nonverbal.
In (Psalm 19:6), we see that even a blind man can feel the heat of the sun.
In (Psalm 19:7-9), we see God's will, His testimony, His precepts, His commandments, and His judgments.
In (Psalm 19: 12), we see that errors and faults refer to sins of ignorance.
In (Psalm 19:13), we see that presumptuous sins are deliberate violations.
In (Psalm 19:14), we see a well know benediction.
We may not be able to see the glory of God, but that doesn't give us an excuse to doubt His power. You see, the things that are made (creation) reveal to us all the power and divine nature of the true living God, so that rejection of this truth makes one without excuse before God (Romans 1:20).
So, though I may not be able to see God, I can certainly feel Him in my life. I can feel in the good times and I can feel Him in the bad times. Praise His loving name (1 Peter 1:8).
Author's Post Script
As a small child, I would often lay awake in bed, with my young mind in a swirl, wondering about God. From my window, I could see the stars dancing about. And on occasion, if lucky, I could catch a glimpse of a falling star. Then, without any control, my mind would start to wonder. "Is there a God out there" ? And if so, "how long has He been there, and who made Him" ? "What was He thinking and did He know of me" ? Just some of the thoughts, my young mind would ponder, questions too big for me to handle. So, I turned my attention to less stressful matters like, "would Superman get the evil crook today on the radio broadcast". " Would anybody find out who the Long Ranger really was, on today's radio program"?
Now that I am a grown up man, so to speak, I have not found all the answers to the universe, but I know where I stand with God. For I have excepted His free grace (Ephesians 2"8-9), and I do believe in the finished work of the cross (John 3:16-17). What about you, beloved?
