"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8)
As the Holy Scripture confirms, God is the beginning and end of all things. Yes, He has truly been there all the time.
He was there all the time
From the very beginning in eternity past
In or out of our lives He will always last
He was there all the time
In that first beautiful garden ever so sweet
Came mankind His first wonder so complete
He was there all the time
When the tempting evil one did first appear
To his wishes our first parents did so adhere
He was there all the time
When came all the anointed Godly prophets of old
And history's first prophecy did begin to unfold
He was there all the time
When mankind boasted of the heavenly tower
Causing the confused languages by His power
He was there all the time
On that sandy desert soil as the bush did burn
A never-ending fire with a message of concern
He was there all the time
On a cold and lonely straw stable bed that night
Coming down from glory taking that earthly flight
He was there all the time
In just a few short years on this earth to teach
Praying the full Gospel plan to all would reach
He was there all the time
Giving up human life on a cruel wooden cross
To save to the uttermost those lives are lost
He was there all the time
Raised to a changed life of pure Holiness delight
From earth taking that blessed glory land flight
He was there all the time
Now in Heaven at the Father's right hand He sits
To make sure from our Holy ways we never quit
He was there all the time
When through the ages the evil one did take a stand
Hoping to deliver to all mankind his ungodly plan
He was there all the time
Soon we will all be there in glory forgetting the past
Together we will sing, shout and praise Him at last
He was there all the time
Will you take Him as your Lord before it's too late?
Don't fail to trust Him making that eternal mistake
He is there all the time
Aren't you glad God chose to leave those hallowed halls of glory, to come to this evil sinful world in the form of a human, just to redeem us from the garden sin? (Genesis 3:1-7) God could have chosen any time to take on that human body and suffer for our sins. But He chose just the right time. (Galatians 4:4 )
You see, it was His perfect timing, due to three perfect indicators: 1) There was a universal peace. 2) There was a universal language. 3) There was a universal desire.
If you are like me, you know in your human finite mind that you just can't grasp God's eternal power. His Omnipresence means He is everywhere. (Psalm 139:7-12). His Omniscience means he knows it all. (Matthew 11:21) And His Omnipotence means He is all powerful. (Revelation 19:6)
When still on this earth, Jesus had to go to great lengths to prove His power. (John 20:29 So from our very first sinner's prayer (Ephesians 2:8-9) to our everyday Christian walk, (Romans 12:1-3) we must worship and take God by our faith. (Hebrews 11:1,6)
You see, God has been here all the time, from eternity past to eternity future. And our total Christian experience is based on taking His existence by this believing faith. (John 20:25,28)
