When I was lost on the mountain
So high, so rough and so wild
The good shepherd sought till He found me
The wondering erring Child
When on life's ocean I drifted
O're waves so dark and cold
The Master appeared in the darkness
And claimed my poor troubled soul
When in my sin Jesus sought me
So far from Heaven and God
He loved me and gave Himself for me
To bring me back to the Lord
He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me. The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me. (Psalm 18:17-20)
When just a child, playing in the back yard cold bin, I panicked as the wind curled around and through the door. Although not being familiar with the total power of the living God, I screamed for Mom. At that time in my young life, Mom's comforting voice was liken to my God's voice now. God does care for His family. Are you a part of His family? If not, simply take His offer of free Grace by Faith and call on Him to be adopted into the Heavenly family.
For you see, you can never be good enough on your own or work your way on your own to Heaven. So, please don't try to boast of being in His family without truly repenting of your sins and starting your life over with Him, through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9(NIV)
" For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast."
