God's tears

if I could catch your tears my God
and bottle them all up
you would have a billion oceans
please help me fill my cup

I Love You Lord it's why I'm here
it's why I've been set apart
so we could spend some time alone
and you could change my heart

I'm a pretty simple fellow
who's been through the pits of hell
I think I know how Joseph felt
when they threw him in the well

but in your kindness and forgiveness
you saw something I didn't see
and that's something that you've seen my God
it's growing big inside of me

you saw Jesus I've never seen him
and it almost passed me by
thank God for boundless mercy
and thank you Lord for one more try. t beals
