Faith The Seed Of Supernatural Power

TEXT: Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. To begin this message,it is not as much a message as it is a sharing of revelation concerning the subject of faith. As I was reading the book of Romans 12 as I got to verse 3 something stood out as if in 3-D. it was this phrase; "GOD has given to every man the measure of faith".

As I read it these words stood tall,
"Faith was given to every man...to EVERY HUMAN BEING. Even though it was the scriptures I was reading these words also stood tall to me " EVERY MAN " I noticed it didn't say every Christian. Since I'm speaking regarding faith the normal pattern of GOD giving things to man by way of gifts it occurs they are normally given in seed form. Even the gift of faith; in this case this is faith is of a common type rather than the special type spoken of in the book of I Corinthians chapter 12 which is used more on an occasional basis than the common type for daily use.

From the beginning of creation God gave things in raw seed form. Which I understand then is more of a process of "planting, time of germination, and harvest of that particular type of seed. With that being said, I want to stress the part of Hebrews 11:1 that says "faith is the substance"...this stood out again as if in 3-D the simple word "the" stood tall.

Then my spiritual eyes were open to these two words. "THE SUBSTANCE"... in other words the emphasis fell upon (the substance) not faith is (A) substance. Had it read faith is "a" substance that would change everything. Since it is THE substance, then my understanding is that all things created by GOD sprang from "THE" substance of faith . Part 1.
