“Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race. Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts. May the Lord silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue — those who say, “By our tongues we will prevail; our own lips will defend us — who is lord over us?” “Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the Lord. “I will protect them from those who malign them.” (Psalm 12:1-6)
It is not my intention to belittle this deadly Coronavirus Pandemic in any way. It should be treated as such. We all should take the necessary precautions without delay for the saving of life.
Precautions in accordance with God’s Holy Scripture are conquering fear (II Timothy 1:7) and the practice of spiritual faith. (Hebrews 11:1,6)
It is my personal opinion however, that this newly revealed disease might be exploited for monetary, personal or political gain. I pray that is not the case, yet one need only read the local newspaper, tune in the news media outlets, talk to the neighbors and listen to some government and church officials to confirm my suspicions. Again, I hope and pray not, for this is certainly not a trivial matter of concern, but a matter of life and death.
Growing up, one of the slang phrases used in combating pure nonsense was “It's all baloney” or some such phrase. Does the meaning of this slang saying relate to the coverage of this deadly virus? I surely trust not. You be the judge!
So here is a poem not intended to belittle this newly-erupted, deadly virus, but just maybe prove my personal opinion.
Corona Bologna is what I say
By faith let all return to His way
By faith let all take His pathway
Corona Bologna is what I say
By faith all have a graceful day
By faith no more to go astray
Corona Bologna is what I say
By faith all travel as we may
By faith all travel now to stay
Corona Bologna is what I say
By faith now shop without delay
By faith now eat with no driveway
Corona Bologna is what I say
By faith to sit in my own pew
By faith together not just a few
Corona Bologna is what I say
By faith kneeling together to pray
By faith to worship trust and obey
Corona Bologna Is what I say
By faith it’s just another day
By faith all worship as we may
Corona Bologna Is what I say
