Completing the Christian Race

Philippians 3:14 - I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

To complete the Christian Race, we ought to realize that:

I. It's PERSONAL, and we ought to properly prepare...

A)physically - 1 cor 6:19-20
B)mentally - Phil 2:5
C)spiritually - Heb 12:1

II. It's going to take PERSEVERANCE doing it by...

A) surrendering to God for His use
B)Supernatural power - (power of the holy spirit) - John 14:16,26
C)Situations - to be cautious of! (equip yourself with the armor of God! Eph 6:14-19)

1) Beware of satan and his tactis - once saved, always saved and because he knows this, it's his job to DIVIDE, DECEIVE, and DESTROY.
2)In order to withstand the onslaughts of satan, we ought to equip ourselves with WHOLE armor of God, DAILY.

III. And it's for a PURPOSE, we must persevere in our purpose and keep on...

A)praising (simply because of who He is) - 150:6
B)professing (the truth) - John 14:6
C)promises (rest on His (God's Promise) - John 3:16
D)proclaiming (the Good News that is Jesus Christ) Is 53:6
