The beautiful flowers of summer;
Bow to the frost of the night.
Life is drawn from each poised pedal;
They fall lifeless with no fight.
The frost of the night, like bitterness;
Chills a warm heart that was free.
It takes a hold and will make you old;
And you'll lose your liberty.
To give in to tempting bitterness;
Is to say goodbye to joy.
And saying hello, to suffering;
Trapped by satan's planned out ploy.
Choose to forgive, choose to forgive;
Jesus forgave you and still forgives.
Choose to be free in His liberty;
Choose to forgive, and joyfully live.
