BULLETIN- MILLIONS SUDDENLY DISAPPEAR

The Hub family was your typical political progressive family, with the except of Mom and the two 7 year old twin sisters. Dad was always caught up in the cares of the office while Joey was moving from one sport to another, depending on the season.

Unlike Joey and Dad, Mom and the twins had learned early in life, that there was something out there above and beyond your mainstream secular family life. That was the love of God, for their lives.

Don't get me wrong, this family all loved each other and were very close, as the secular world goes. The boys just did not cater to this religious stuff. However, Mom never gave up on them. As will be seen in this fictional rendition of the "Christian Rapture."

What about you? Which of these characters are you playing?

"Dad, Dad, what's happening? It's just mass confusion out there. It's just awful. Cars wrecking for lack of a driver, and airplanes and trains crushing for the same reason. Besides that, people all over the world are just coming up missing. They say they can't even find our World Union President to get any kind of explanation. Where did everybody go, Dad? The news is reporting that millions are now missing.

"I understand how you feel, Joey, but what worries me the most is that I can't find your mother and your twin sisters. Your mother left, taking them to the store for ice cream and they have just disappeared. The store manager said he also had a problem as his best employee, James, the delivery boy, is missing as well. His bike had wrecked down on Main Street with a basket full of groceries, for no reason at all."

"Maybe they are all down at the Christian Center, Dad, listening to that new preacher they all like so well. Let me ride down and see."

Well, it so happened that no one was at the Christian Center. It was as if the pastor and staff had suddenly left, leaving all their personal effects behind. As a matter-of fact, the refrigerator door was left open in the kitchen, leaving the food to spoil and a number of the cars in the parking lot still had the motors running, some of which had crashed against one another. However, the TV in the recreation room just happened to be giving a news bulletin, stating our World Union President was to have a press conference, at 5:00pm EST, to explain what was happening. “Stay tuned for an address by "His Excellence", the reporter said.

"My fellow countryman throughout the New Earth society, I come to you today with whole-hearted concern with what has happened to our world. The minute these events started breaking on the World News Network, I gathered my closest advisers in a brain-storming session. And, as a result of this session, we have a number of options that may have happened, which I am not privileged to discuss at this time. However, the one suggestion that seems to have gotten the most worldwide attention is a conspiracy theory which my opposition may have devised. I cannot give you the details at this time but it all centers around a possible flesh eating virus, which will cause the human body to suddenly disappear. That's' all I have for now. However, I have set up a toll free international telephone "Hot Line" that may be used with all the major languages. So, please keep in touch with us by simply dialing, 1-666, and follow the menu for your particular country. Before I go, I would like for our Director of Spiritual Affairs to close this press conference on a positive note. Brother, please come forward."

"Good morning world," The Director said. "Let me just close with this one thought taken from an old famous nursery rhyme. Sticks and stones may hurt but untrue words will not. In other words, you will hear a number of people, including the news media, blame this mysterious disappearances on religion. But, I can assure you religion had nothing to do with it. As you know, we outlawed religion two years ago. So, don't you worry, "His Excellence" will get to the bottom of this as soon as he gets back from the world conference on "Humanity and the Environment". By the way, if you have not received your new ID microchip, please do so immediately, for without it, you will not be able to "buy or sell" anything. You must have it for your existence. The chips are free through your local office of the "World Humanitarian Culture”. Just ask for the code word "666". Good night and sweet dreams".

"Well, Joey, what do you think now? As your Dad, we must realize our leader has spoken and is doing all he can to get to the bottom of this. I feel we should all relax. If your mother and twin sisters do not come home, there is nothing we can do but just cherish their memories."

"But, Dad, something tells me these whole explanations, from our leader are just not right. We've really not been loyal to Mom by not going to church with her. And besides, I remember what the preacher said at grandfather’s funeral. He said there will come a time when all Christians will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air. And all Christians, living and dead, would be with Jesus forever in Heaven. Are Mom and the twins now in Heaven, Dad? Please tell me the truth."

"Yes, I too seem to remember the preacher saying that. I surely hope Mom and the twins are now with Jesus. I intend on searching this out in Mom's Bible. So, why don't we search together?"

"In the meantime, son, let's not get that new microchip implant until we get to the bottom of this."

"Thanks, Dad,” Joey replied.

Well, Dad and Joel did just that. And by a shear miracle they both found the answer, as the answer had been marked in red in Mom's Bible, with a note giving certain instructions to those who were left behind.

Dear Joey and Hub, if the twins and I are suddenly missing, don't be alarmed we will be with Jesus, in the air. You and Joey can still join us, if you both accept Jesus in your hearts. Whatever you do, don't take the sign or the "mark of the beast". You'll understand what I mean. Please read this scripture.

AS FOR ME AND THE TWINS!
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and thus we shall always be with the Lord" Therefore comfort one another with these words (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)

AS FOR JOEY AND HUB!
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

And so by "Divine Guidance", both Dad and Joey prayed to accept Christ. In fact, when they gave the explanation for not accepting the microchip implant, they were both carted off to the national prison, never to be heard of again.

But we know where they went, don't we? To meet their loved ones in heaven.

"And when He broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the alter the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they maintained". (Revelation 6:9).

"And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, should be completed also." Revelation 6:11)

What about you? Are you ready to meet Jesus in the air? It could happen at any time, you know. In fact, it could happen before you finish this story.

"Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound and the dead in Christ will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed". (1 Corinthians 15:51-52)

One need only have faith in God's free grace and confess that they are a sinner in need of saving. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9).
