Because He Knows the Way

Consumed by what all others do
Past all the filth we can’t see through,
But through the immorality,
And through the hateful words,
Through the sinful world I see,
My Father’s love asserts.
Though through the dirt we cannot see,
We grasp his precious hand.
He will guide the way for me,
Though I don’t understand.
So I will follow because I trust,
Because He knows the Way,
Into sin I won’t be thrust,
By my Father, I will stay.
