I abused my life,
Got bad advice.
I did my time,
Nearly lost my mind.

Yes, I see you there,
With that empty stare.
Ain't it hard to think,
Without drug and drink.

WHEN YA BURNING OUT FAST,
YOU KNOW IT WON'T LAST,

What we thought was cool,
Made us a fool, Was not OK!

God shows mercy too,
To this poor, poor fool.
Open their eyes,
To the devil's lies.

Jesus set them free,
Like you did for me.
Help them to serve,
In Your Holy Word.

HE'S GOING DOWN FAST,
HE WILL NOT LAST,

WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS COOL,
BROKE THE GOLDEN RULE,
WE MUST NOW ALL PRAY,
LET US PRAY.
